Why did you want to work with animals? Animals always had a special place in my heart ever since I was a little girl! Some call me the dog whisperer.

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I had a hamster when I was 12. I didn't grow up with many pets but I'm currently a mom of a black lab and a golden retriever!

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? I'm currently a student studying law. When I'm not studying I'm painting or playing with my puppies!

What is a hidden talent of yours? I'm really good at Mario Kart.

Why did you want to work with animals? I love dogs! I knew it would be a fun and enjoyable job and I was right!

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? We always had a dog growing up and my first words were the names of our Beagles, Daisy and Gal. Since getting married, we have Vizslas and can't imagine life without them.

Where did you grow up? Tennessee

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? Running, reading, looking for where I left my coffee cup and playing with my daughter.

What is a hidden talent of yours? I'm not one to keep my talents hidden so I would say running, baking and planning fun outings for my family.

Why did you want to work with animals? I LOVE to work with animals because they ALWAYS brighten your day! You can talk to them about anything, give and receive kisses, and be outside all while “working.” 

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I’ve had a dog my whole life! When I was 16 I went to the flea market and rescued one without asking my parents. When I started college my parents kept the rescue and I rescued another because I HAD to live with a dog!

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? I work part time teaching preschool! I’m also married with 2 boys and spend A LOT of time at the ball fields, basketball gym or golf course!

What is a hidden talent of yours? I really don’t have any hidden talents, what you see is what you get! Maybe hiding a “hot mess mom!”

Why did you want to work with animals? I love dogs and animals in general! I have reached my pet limit at my condo so this was a dream job where I just get to love on dogs all day.

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I currently enjoy the company of two kitty cats and a cockatiel! Growing up my parents were fish people but I wanted pals that could keep me company throughout the house (I even claimed a snail as a pet once). Throughout my life I've had birds, a frog, turtles, bunnies, dogs, cats, and a whole bunch of kois.

Where did you grow up? Jakarta, Indonesia

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? Probably out on my patio reading and drinking tea on my inflatable lounger.

What is a hidden talent of yours? Assembling IKEA furniture.

Why did you want to work with animals? They always give such a raw sense of love and appreciation! Plus I'm a sucker for a little fluff ball.

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I had many a fish but mostly grew up with my grandparents and family friends dogs, pet sitting them and hanging out at their house.  

Where did you grow up? Indianapolis, IN

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? Playing guitar for people around town, or hiking someplace about an hour east of Nashville (that's where all the good spots can be found).

What is a hidden talent of yours? I can wiggle my ears pretty well.

Why did you want to work with animals? I am a huge dog and cat lover! I was not allowed to have dogs or cats when I was growing up due to my dad being allergic so I have been deprived of the companionship! This job sounded like a great mental break for me during my day to get a walk in and spend some time loving on some adorable sweet dogs!

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I raised so many types of animals growing up except a dog or a cat! My family has always longed for a dog, corgis were our favorites! I did raise guinea pigs, ducks, geese, chickens, turtles, and rabbits! It was very entertaining to say the least! My favorites were my first two baby ducklings, Molly and Allie. One was a Peking duck (the Aflac duck) and the other a female Mallard. They always came back home to visit and be fed even after releasing them on the small lake we lived on!

Where did you grow up? Franklin/Brentwood TN

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? I love to walk outside, spend time with my friends, enjoy the delicious restaurants and coffee shops in town, workout at the different gyms, and go to many events! I work full time selling health insurance as well!

What is a hidden talent of yours? I used to be a gymnast and competitive cheerleader! I can still can do backhand springs and long tumbling series! My flexibility is still great too so I am still able to do a lot of the moves from gymnastics still after years!

Why did you want to work with animals? I love animals! Working with animals doesn’t really feel like work. Your pets make the best coworkers! 

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I’ve always had dogs and cats. I grew up with two cats and a Pekingese. I currently have a Persian named Strong and a Boxer named Penny.

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? When I’m not at work you will find me adventuring in the world of Dungeons & Dragons.

What is a hidden talent of yours? Painting and sewing.

Why did you want to work with animals? I love being able to love and care for animals everyday!  

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I grew up with 6 dogs, 1 snake, 1 turtle, 1 rabbit and also a sugar glider! My favorite was my first dog, Goldie! She was a yellow lab.

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? I am a part time hairstylist as well as a dog walker. I also love to hangout with my family and friends. I love being outside, working out, camping, hiking, traveling, and live for adventures. I am also a home body and love watching movies and cuddling with my cat.

What is a hidden talent of yours? I am really good at ping pong!

Why did you want to work with animals? I used to work at an animal rescue! Working with animals is the only work I’m forever passionate about.

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I grew up with golden retrievers and labs! I’ve had my beagle for 6 years, and he is my LIFE.

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? Walking my dog, playing video games, or compulsively cleaning

What is a hidden talent of yours? I can guess the exact age of any baby!

Why did you want to work with animals? I love all animals and enjoy looking after them. I grew up with dogs and love to be outdoors walking them. Seeing happy animals makes me happy!

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I grew up with dogs. We always had at least one sometimes 2 dogs in my house. I can’t imagine a life without an animal in my house . I currently have a 9 year old small Labrador mix. Her name is Jaydee and of course she is my favorite!

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the gym, traveling or meeting up with my friends.

What is a hidden talent of yours? I can speak German and I can make a really good Italian pizza :-)

Why did you want to work with animals? My life has revolved around animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them then decided to dedicate my college studies to them. They bring to me the purest form of joy. They remind me to stay present and to enjoy life in that very moment. They make me laugh without even trying and fill me with a sense of love I’ve not ever felt with any other person! I feel as though we could learn a lot from animals if we only took the time to listen.

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I don’t remember a time in my life I didn’t have an animal by my side! We’ve had rabbits, dogs, cats, fish, rats & even insects.

Where did you grow up? Central Illinois

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? Practicing yoga, reading, hanging out with my chinchilla, hiking, studying Italian, rock climbing, dreaming about an animal sanctuary and cooking.

What is a hidden talent of yours? No one has ever been able to beat me at Tetris! Nor does anyone ever want to play with me so if anyone is ever interested in a game of Tetris...count me in!

Why did you want to work with animals? I believe that animals can teach humans a great deal of lessons regarding life. Whether it’s about love, loyalty, simplicity, or even happiness, we can learn so much from them! I really enjoy the connection and bond between humans and animals, it is truly one of a kind!

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I have always grown up having a dog! I currently have an 8 year old boxer pup named Shelby!

When you aren't caring for pets, what can we find you doing? I am a third year college student at Belmont University studying music business. I am also an absolute foodie so I love trying out new restaurants and recipes!

What is a hidden talent of yours? I play the guitar and piano!
